Farmhouse WELCOME sign

Welcome sign on front porch

I took the REALLY easy route to making a Farmhouse WELCOME sign for my front porch.

The only materials you will need for this project are:

Blank sign
Black and Green acrylic paint
Stencils
Painters tape
Sponge brush applicators

blank sign for welcome sign — I found this blank sign board on sale at Hobby Lobby.

stencil letters on blank sign — Tape stencil letters in place with painters tape.

paint and spong applicator — Prepare acrylic paint and a small sponge paint applicator.

paint blotted on stencil letters — Blot the paint on the stencil letters.
(NOTE the paint may bleed under the stencil….just freehand paint to clean up the letters with a small paint brush, if needed)

final welcome sign — Added some green leaves for the final touch.

What better way to welcome your guests with a handmade WELCOME sign.
