Simple DIY Valentine Cards and Tags
I have mentioned before that I like the minimalist look. Below are a few creations of DIY Valentine cards and Valentine tags made with some simple paper hearts. These can be used for Valentine’s day OR any time of the year for a loved one during any occasion. You may recognize the vase in the first image from our last DIY project.
Only supplies needed for the cards and tags are:
- Blank greeting cards and blank tags purchased at Hobby Lobby
- Red construction paper
- Heart shaped punch
- Black marker
- Glue

I always think it is a GREAT idea to get your kids involved in some of your DIY creations. You can decide whether to “guide them” or to let them be 100% creative. In the below photo we let Aubrey, our granddaughter, get 100% creative with her DIY Valentine cards. As a Grandparent, these are the BEST gifts anyone could give us.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Cre-AYE-tions!
There is a last minute addition to this post. Aubrey got into the spirit of Valentine’s and ALL of a sudden HEARTS have become the “next best thing to sliced bread”. We ended up making SEVERAL heart shirts and leggings (and they all had to be sparkling pink). Next year, I hope to show you more attire but this really was a last minute project.
