DIY with Bottles
It is amazing how many shapes and sizes of bottles there are out there. I love to do DIY with bottles….wine bottles, olive oil bottles and in this same category can be any jar (ie pickle jar, mason jar, etc.).
I have a rather large collection of wine bottles so I decided to play around with some different ways to decorate.

DIY with Wine Bottle 2
In the above photo collage I took a plain wine bottle and started with simplicity. (Remember, I am a minimalist). I first just hot glued jute cord around the top and bottom. Lauren discovered these cute flowers to make with her Cricut machine so I decided to add some flowers a little at a time. You can see in the last image the final result. One wine bottle with three different looks.
DIY with Wine Bottle 3
In the above image are 3 wine bottles that have a rustic “old timey” look to me. So I decided to wrap the large jute ribbon around the middle and use vinyl to imprint “Home Sweet Home”. You can use these as stand alone or decorate with flowers of your choice.
DIY with Olive Oil Bottle
The above images are of my DIY olive oil bottle. I chose the chalk paint because I wanted a matte finish. Then a used a buffalo plaid vinyl cut out for the “S” monogram. AND topped it off with my favorite jute cord. This can be used as a stand alone bottle or used with a floral display.
DIY with Pickle Jar
Last, but not least, is my DIY with a Pickle Jar. YES….this is the very jar that I mentioned in my post Thrifty is Nifty. In the below photo you will see this very jar labelled as “Marshmellow Toppings” and I have it displayed with a few DIY coffee mugs that we made.
