Easter DIY Ideas - Cre-AYE-tions

Easter is probably one of the easiest holidays for a variety of decorations. I decided to go with the carrots and egg theme this year (so staying mainly with the oranges and greens). See below some Easter DIY ideas I threw together real quick.

I did pull out my Easter decor from last year…..RECYCLE when you can. You can see last year’s ideas in this link for DIY Easter Fun.

The few new Easter DIYs that I added are here is this blog. I got most everything from the Dollar Tree.

Easter Framed DIY

Dollar Tree frame — I found this framed “saying” at the Dollar Tree. Now, let’s repurpose this.

Dollar Tree frame with scrapbook paper — Take some scrapbook paper and cut to size of the now plain mat.

DIY frame — This is how it looks now with the scrapbook paper.

Carrots from Dollar Tree — I found these carrots at the Dollar Tree.

Bunny cut out of craft paper — Then I took some craft paper and cut out a silhouette of a bunny.

Bunny for Easter DIY — Glue a pom pom tail on the bunny.

Easter DIY idea — Then glue both the carrots and bunny silhouette on the scrapbook paper mat.

Easter Nest in Jar

In one of my previous posts I showed you how to create an apothecary jar. I simply took one of the jars I made and filled with part of a bird’s nest (that we found) and some fake eggs (that I purchased at Hobby Lobby last year). This makes a cut easy decor.

Easter Egg Garland DIY

Easter DIY garland — I purchased some plastic eggs at the Dollar Tree and decided to spruce them up a bit with some white dots. I simply took some craft paint and a small sponge painter and painted dots.

Easter Egg DIY with feathers

I saw a cute and easy DIY with feathers and plastic eggs. All you need are some plastic eggs (that you can purchase at the Dollar Tree) and some feathers (that you can purchase at Wal Mart).
