Bringing in the New Year!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! If you are like me, you bringing in the New Year means I have spent these last few days putting away Christmas decorations and brainstorming about 2022. I am excited to say that we are planning our projects for 2022 and will be having another Pop Up sale in July 2022.

One more thing….it is official…I am the crazy lady that will be keeping her Christmas tree all year long. Mainly because I will need it for the July Pop Up. SO…..yes…I have converted my Christmas tree to a Valentine’s tree. (Let’s see how long I can keep this up. LOL). The irony of this tree is that EVERY single thing on this tree is from the Dollar Tree. Some of them are from last’s year Dollar Tree trip BUT many are from just last week. SO..if you are wanting any Valentine decor run to the Dollar Tree NOW! The Gnome on top of the tree is from a previous project I posted last year (made from Dollar Tree items). Click here to see how to make your own Gnome.

NOW….about 2022 brainstorming. Typically what I do is “get organized”. I was working on my granddaughter’s room this weekend and she, herself, is an avid crafter. There are SO MANY art projects she works on that we decided to put a large bulletin board in her room to post her artwork. Now…she is 5 years old so I thought a standard brown bulletin board was boring…SO see below my bulletin board make-over just for her room.

Bulletin Board Make-over

I found this bulletin board on Facebook Marketplace for $6.

I decided to stencil paint a pattern….here you can see I am using an animal print stencil. I found this on Amazon.

I just went “one section” at a time, painting the stencil with black paint.

Here is how the first section looked…..

I finally finished the entire board and this is how it looked.

This is how it looks on my granddaughter’s wall (with a few pieces of artwork).

Thank you all and Happy New Year!!!!
